IELTS Speaking practice

Listen to the question. Answer in your own words.

Speaking practice is not about memorising perfect scripts. Hear the prompt, take a moment to think, and respond naturally. Audio questions help you get used to the rhythm of a spoken interview.

Part 1: clear, natural answers

Answer familiar questions directly, then add a brief reason or example. A complete answer is more useful than a rehearsed paragraph.

Part 2: organise your ideas

Use preparation time to note a few keywords. Introduce the topic, develop two or three points and finish with a short conclusion.

Part 3: explain your opinion

For broader questions, give a view and support it with a reason or comparison. If a word escapes you, explain the idea in simpler language and keep going.
